KYB Leadership Academy
Our Mission
Established in 2016, the KYB Leadership Academy has embraced the mission to build the capacity for global leadership while increasing awareness of pulmonary hypertension. The Academy is sponsored by Roberta Baines-Wheeler Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Group, founded in honor of Dr. Brown's late mother, to increase awareness of pulmonary hypertension.
KYB Leadership Academy
The KYB Leadership Academy opens doors to local and global leadership experiences for youth and young adults. Academy members receive intense training in four focus areas: Leadership, government, health, and finance.
KYB International Travel
The KYB Leadership Academy International Conference is a cultural immersion experience designed to allow participants to master the KYB Leadership Academy modules, core areas, and competencies.
KYB International Travel Team
KYB International Travel Team
The KYB International Travel Team includes students who have completed the KYB Leadership Academy and now serve as Alumni Ambassadors. Through global travel, they engage with diverse communities and meet with dignitaries.
