About the Commemorative Book
Purpose: The 10th Anniversary Commemorative Book is both a celebration of our first decade and a fundraiser to fuel KYB's future. It will serve as a keepsake for everyone whose lives have been touched by KYB, and as an inspiration for those who will shape its next chapters. Our goal is to highlight the accomplishments of our youth leaders and express gratitude to all who have supported their journey. This book is mission-driven and uplifting, designed to showcase how empowering young leaders over the past ten years has created a ripple effect of positive change in our community and beyond.
Throughout the book, readers will also find touching anecdotes of mentorship, notes of thanks to those who made this work possible, and insights into the Academy’s core values (such as service, resilience, and “knowing your brilliance”). The overall narrative will reflect on where we started, celebrate how far we’ve come, and cast a hopeful eye toward the future of the KYB Leadership Academy. By the final pages, anyone reading will understand the tools youth need to empower themselves and feel the heart and community that have sustained KYB’s mission for ten years.
